This
174 yard Par-3 has been described by many players as one of the prettiest holes
on the course. Isolated in a horseshoe of trees, it plays over a pond to a small
elevated green which features three timber clad bunkers which are sharply cut
into the bank just behind the green. Cosmetically, the hole stands out because
of the "visual layering effect". The eye transcends from water to rock
to rough to green to sand to railroad ties to woodland, representing quite a splash
of textures.
